Wednesday accident on Highway D

On Wednesday, April 22, at about 3:45 p.m., Robert O. Schlager, 71, of Manchester, MO, was driving a 2002 GMC Savannah Van westbound on Highway D at Highway 94.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Schlager turned into the path of an eastbound 2005 Dodge Neon being driven by William G. Vandeven, 44, of Defiance. The front of the Neon struck the right front side of the GMC van.
Schlager suffered minor injuries and was taken to Progress West Hospital by St. Charles County Ambulance. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
