Accident on 94 sends five to hospital

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol:
On Saturday, Aug. 28, at about 5:30 p.m., Henry L. Gibson, 49, of Steelville, was driving a 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound on Highway 94, just west of Howell Road.
Gibson failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and crossed into the eastbound lane, striking the left front of a 2005 Toyota Highlander driven by John R. Brickner, 40, of O’Fallon, MO.
Gibson and his passenger, Virginia L. Gibson, 43, of Steelville, were ejected. Both vehicles continued off the south edge of the roadway.
Henry Gibson suffered serious injuries and was taken by Arch Helicopter to St. John’s Hospital in Creve Coeur. Virginia Gibson also suffered serious injuries and was taken by Life Flight to St. John’s Hospital in Creve Coeur.
John Brickner suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene. Brickner’s occupants, Kelly L. Brickner, 36, of O’Fallon, MO and two children, suffered moderate injuries and were all taken by St. Charles County Ambulance to St. John’s Hospital in Creve Coeur.
