Accident claims life of motorcyclist

On Tuesday, March 23 at about 4:00 p.m., Gary C. Hoffmann, 63, of Lake Sherwood, was stopped northbound on Route T waiting to turn left onto Borgman Road in a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Kenneth S. Owens, 52, of Foristell was also heading north on Route T riding a 2004 Harley Davidson Motorcycle but failed to stop before striking the rear of the vehicle driven by Hoffmann.
Owens was ejected from the motorcycle and fatally injured. He was pronounced at the scene.
