Accident claims life of Troy man

A Troy man was fatally injured in a motor vehicle accident Monday morning.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol:
On Monday, Sept. 21, at approximately 6:14 a.m., Donald R. Romine, 56, of Troy, MO, was driving a 2007 Nissan Versa southbound on Highway 61, north of Route P.
Romine failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and struck a bridge abutment before the vehicle became airborne.
Romine was pronounced at the scene.
