Accident claims life of Defiance woman

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol:
On Monday, December 13 at about 11:25 a.m. Ladonna Weeks, 61, of Defiance, was traveling eastbound on Highway F near Old Colony in a 2003 Subaru Legacy.
The vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, down a steep embankment and overturned, coming to rest on its top. The vehicle was partially submerged in a water-filled ravine.
Weeks was taken to St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur by Arch Ambulance. Weeks suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center.
