Breaking News: FIRE AT SALVAGE YARD IN O’FALLON

O’Fallon, Missouri
Firefighters responded to a two-alarm fire at Goodfellow Auto Salvage Yard on West Terra Lane near McGee Road in O’Fallon at about 5:55 p.m. Friday. As of 6:50 p.m., emergency crews were still on the scene.
Lake Saint Louis and O’Fallon law enforcement blocked traffic from entering West Terra from the Lake Saint Louis side as well as near Herman Drive off West Terra Lane. An O’Fallon Fire District representative told sccworlds.com that they were concerned with traffic interfering with the many fire hoses and emergency vehicles near the scene.
The fire district representative also told sccworlds.com that, at this time, they are attempting to put the fire out from outside and not entering the burning area.
No injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
