Visit picturesque Hermann at Christmastime

Leave the driving to the City of O’Fallon and board the motor coach in mid-December for a trip to the village of Hermann, Missouri, named by Forbes Magazine “one of America’s prettiest towns. Built on the banks of the Missouri River in the mid-to-late 1800s by German immigrants, Hermann’s shops, restaurants and wineries take on the feeling of an Old World heritage Christmas in December.
On Wednesday, December 14, the motor coach will depart at 8 a.m. from the parking lot outside Civic Hall, (305 Civic Park Drive, O’Fallon, MO 63366), returning at 5:30 p.m. The cost is $79 for O’Fallon residents and $88 for non-residents, and includes deluxe transportation, lunch, all admissions and tours, wine-tasting, a guide, and all gratuities. The deadline to sign up for the trip is Sunday, November 13.
“Christmastime in Hermann” includes a guided tour of the town, a delicious local lunch, a winery tour and wine-tasting, shopping at the St. George Rectory’s “winter wonderland,” visiting the Deutschheim State Historic Site, and a final stop of the day at the Swiss Meat & Sausage Company.
