According to tweets on Twitter, many neighbors took advantage of this week’s warm weather by stringing holiday lights. Today may be the last ideal day for this seasonal chore, at least for a while. Forecasters are predicting quite a wet week ahead.

The City of O’Fallon has also been a busy elf recently as their 20-foot decorated tree, located inside City Hall, will be officially illuminated on Wednesday, Nov. 18 at 6 p.m. There will be live music, games, crafters and vendors selling holiday gifts and Santa will be in attendance!

Admission is free. Canned and boxed goods will be gratefully accepted for donation.

Time to get in the spirit. Only 42 days until Christmas.
