Three-car-accident sends one to hospital

On Monday, Aug. 2 at about 4:20 p.m., Lorie J. Meyerson, 48, from O’Fallon, was driving a 2007 Nissan Xterra westbound on Interstate 70 west of Route 79. Traveling behind Meyerson in a 2004 Dodge Neon was Jodi M. Gruenloh, 29, of Wright City.
Both Meyerson and Gruenloh were stopped for traffic.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Paul J. Morrison, 44, of O’Fallon, was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado and failed to stop. The front of the Silverado struck the rear of the Dodge Neon. The front of the Dodge Neon struck the rear of the Nissan Xterra.
Gruenloh suffered moderate injuries and was taken to St. Joseph Health Center East by St. Charles County Ambulance.
