Fire crews were called to a house fire in the 1200 block of Summer Lynne Drive Thursday morning. Responding units came from O’Fallon, Lake Saint Louis, Central County and Wentzville.

The fire was reported around 10:30 a.m. on Thurs., Jan. 8. Flames and smoke in the back of the home were initially reported.

According to witnesses, smoke was eventually visible from all sides of the home. Crews sawed their way to gain access to the garage and were able to push vehicles out.

Cause of the fire is uncertain at this time.
