Robbery at local gas station

On 2/22/11, at approximately 3:00 a.m., the O’Fallon Police Department received a call of an Armed Robbery at the Conoco Gas Station located at 1060 Bryan Road. During the initial investigation it was reported that two masked men entered the gas station. A handgun was displayed. The clerk was ordered to open the cash drawer and the clerk produced an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects fled on foot. No injuries were sustained. A handgun and other evidence were seized.
At approximately 4:21 a.m. one suspect was taken into custody in the area. At approximately 8:33 a.m. the second suspect was taken into custody.
The St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued charges of Robbery 1st Degree and Armed Criminal Action on Todd Bishop and Anthony Jennings. The bond for each subject was set at $50,000. Bishop is a nineteen year old O’Fallon resident. Jennings is a 20 year old resident of St. Charles County.
