Police to host Open House
from the O’Fallon Police Department

On Aug. 29, 2009, the O’Fallon Police Department is hosting an Open House at the O’Fallon Police Department located at 100 North Main. The opening ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m. with a welcome from Chief William Seibert and the Posting of Colors by the O’Fallon Police Department and the O’Fallon Fire Protection District Honor Guard. Other participating agencies are the O’Fallon Fire Protection District, St. Charles County Ambulance District and the MO State Highway Patrol.

The event will include: K-9 Demonstrations, guided tours of the Police Department, weapons simulator, D.A.R.E. car show, and emergency response vehicle displays. The event will have interactive educational booths for children and adults.

The interactive booths will include: gun safety, stranger danger, smoke house, bicycle safety, 911, simulated impaired driving demonstrations, seatbelt awareness simulator, and a bicycle helmet check.

The adult safety programs educational booths will include: Neighborhood Watch, home and business safety, senior safety and emergency preparedness.
