Fort Zumwalt Park prepares for holidays
Fort Zumwalt Park will be closed to vehicular traffic as of October 19, to prepare the park for the holiday season’s Celebration of Lights.
St. Paul Road opens ahead of schedule
St. Paul Road, between Hackmann and Mueller Roads, will re-open today, Oct. 1. The road closure was due to a $134,000 project to replace two deficient bridge decks on Josephville and St. Paul Roads.
“We are pleased with the fact that the bridge is re-opening one week sooner than expected,” said Craig Tajkowski, County Engineer. “The contractor was able to combine some operations, and he had very cooperative weather. This early opening cuts down on the inconvenience for residents in that area.”
