Veterans invited to speak at O’Fallon’s Pearl

The public is invited to attend a Pearl Harbor Day ceremony honoring all World War II veterans at 1 p.m. on Sunday, December 5, in Civic Hall (in Civic Park), 305 Civic Park Drive, O’Fallon, Missouri 63366. The date commemorates the 69th anniversary of Japan’s air strike on the U.S. Pacific Fleet stationed at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, on Sunday, December 7, 1941.

Directions: On I-70 in O’Fallon, take Exit 217 at highways K and M (Main Street). Drive north on Main Street for about one-half mile, and make an immediate left on Civic Park Drive after crossing the railroad tracks. Civic Park is about three blocks down on the right, and Civic Hall is adjacent to the main parking lot.
