This summer, you don’t have to “get up with the chickens” to shop at the O’Fallon Farmers’ and Artists’ Market. The market is now open from 8 a.m. - noon on Saturdays through October 15 in the west parking lot at T.R. Hughes Ballpark, 900 T.R. Hughes Boulevard , O’Fallon, Missouri 63366. Admission and parking are free.

Peaches, berries, corn, tomatoes and peppers that are ripe for the picking are among the season’s top offerings now. As the summer progresses, customers will find a changing variety of locally-grown, picked-fresh fruits, veggies and herbs, plus local honey, meat, eggs, baked goods, jams and jellies, gourmet items, original art, accessories, hand-made crafts and more.

One of the O’Fallon market’s unique programs is Gatherings, held from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m., and featuring “Flower Bouquets” by Carrie Dodd and Georgia Glidden on August 6, and the “Basics of Canning” by Linda Langford of Crooked Lane Farm on August 13.
