OAOA luncheons include speakers for ages 50+

Socialize over a lunch catered by a local restaurant and listen to speakers discussing topics geared to adults who are age 50 and older at the new O’Fallon Active Older Adults (OAOA) club. The club meets on the third Wednesday of the month from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Renaud Spirit Center , 2650 Tri Sports Circle, O’Fallon, Missouri 63368. Registration is required at least one week before each meeting.
July’s meeting is on Wednesday, July 20, and the deadline to sign-up is Wednesday, July 13. Cost of the program is $8 for O’Fallon residents and $10 for non-residents.
OAOA Speakers Schedule
- July 20 – Reverse mortgage consultants Dennis Cooper and Ted Rood of MetLife Home Loans will discuss reverse mortgages and debt structuring on a fixed income. Lunch will be tuna salad, salad, and cookies, catered by Rendezvous Café and Wine Bar,
- August 17 – David Harrington of Bankers Life and Casualty, and Lana Jacobsmeyer of Visiting Angles assisted living and home care services will discuss their respective businesses; lunch will be salad, roasted pasta veggie bake, and pudding, catered by Rendezvous Café.
- September 21 – Wallace Neal will discuss Medicare, and lunch will be chicken pot pie and cobbler, catered by Rendezvous Café.
