"From the Farm to the Table" tour

Sign up now for O’Fallon’s “From the Farm to the Table” trip, and get the most out of a beautiful June day with a scenic farm and town tour of the picturesque Clarksville, Missouri, area, The motor coach will depart from Civic Hall at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, June 22, and return to O’Fallon by 5 p.m. The deadline to register for the trip is Sunday, May 22.
The tour includes a visit to Vesterbrook Farm, which participates in the O’Fallon Farmers’ and Artists’ Market, and produces naturally-grown vegetables, hay and fruit, and free-range chicken eggs, heritage-breed turkeys, and grass-fed beef and lamb. www.vesterbrookfarm.com.
The next stop is Overlook Farm (www.overlookfarmmo.com), home of the Clarksville Station Restaurant, where the chef will prepare lunch with ingredients fresh from the garden. Following lunch, everyone will tour the farm, and then head to Clarksville for shopping at quaint specialty shops. The final stop of the day will be the Crown Valley Port House for a relaxing wine tasting and tour.
The cost is $70 for O’Fallon residents and $78 for non-residents, and includes motor coach transportation, lunch, tours and tasting, an escort, and gratuities.
