Four-alarm fire at Enclave Apartments

A fire broke out at the Enclave Apartments on Apple Rock Drive in WingHaven on Friday shortly before 4 p.m. It was reported that a witness stated he noticed smoke on an apartment balcony.
Help arrived from many departments and districts, including: O’Fallon, Lake Saint Louis, Wentzville, Wright City, New Melle, Cottleville, Monarch and Central County. Fire units staged at Phoenix Parkway and Technology Drive.
All units were ordered to evacuate the building at 4:25 p.m. Around 5:20 p.m., the fire was declared out and overhaul operations began.
