"Eclectic Oddities Exhibit" this weekend

This weekend, visitors to O’Fallon’s historic Heald Home will be able to view the Eclectic Oddities Exhibit of “three wise monkeys” figurines (“see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil”) and Enid Collins handbags. The collectibles will be on display throughout the home, which will be open for tours during the Great Backyard Bird Count on February 18 through February 21. Tours cost $2 per person and will be available from 8 – 10 a.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday, and 8 – 11 a.m. on Sunday and. Monday.
The Heald Home is a two-story brick house erected circa 1884 by Darius Heald, and restored by the City of O’Fallon in 2001. The home is located in Fort Zumwalt Park at 1000 Jessup Drive , O’Fallon, Missouri 63366. www.ofallon.mo.us/HealdHome.
Directions: On I-70, take Exit 217 at Highways K / M (Main Street) in O’Fallon, drive south on Highway K for one block to the stoplight at Veterans Memorial Parkway; turn right and then drive about one mile to the Fort Zumwalt Park entrance on the left.
