Following is the O’Fallon Police Department Crime Log of reported incidents for the week of September 17, 2009 through September 23, 2009.

Report Date: September 17, 2009

Sugar was put in a gas tank on Northwalk.

Computer games were shoplifted in the 1300 block of Highway K. A 22-year-old St. Paul man was issued a summons.

Paint was damaged on a vehicle in the 2300 block of Oakbrook Drive.

A vehicle was scratched in the 300 block of Woodlawn Avenue.

Gift cards were stolen from a vehicle in the 1000 block of West Terra Lane.

A camera, which was left at a register, was stolen in the 500 block of Knob Hill Drive. A 33-year-old O’Fallon man was arrested.

A door was damaged in the 700 block of Avondale Drive.

License plates were stolen in the 9200 block of Veterans Memorial Parkway.

Report Date: September 20, 2009

A stealing attempt in the 1400 block of Crooked Stick Drive was reported. Three white males were standing next to a vehicle and were overheard talking about looking in vehicles. Upon the officer’s arrival, the subjects were gone. Nothing stolen.

A cell phone and change were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 900 block of Highway K.

A house was teepee’d and non-permanent marker was used to write the words “Seniors 2010” on the door of the home in the 6900 block of Cog Mill Drive.

A 36-year-old O’Fallon resident was issued a summons for shoplifting alcohol in the 800 block of Bryan Road.

A stealing attempt occurred when a caller was selling items on the Internet in the 100 block of North Main Street. A subject wrote a check for more than the transaction price with instructions to send remaining money to an unknown moving company.

A clip board was stolen out of an unlocked vehicle in the 800 block of Bryan Road.

Approximately $200 was stolen from a residence in the 900 block of Southernside Lane.

A calculator was shoplifted in the 1300 block of Highway K. A 29-year-old Warrenton man was arrested.

A license plate was stolen on Old Glory Court.

A license plate was stolen on Statesman Drive.

A burglary attempt occurred in the 2000 block of Magnolia Garden Drive. The victim found a drill bit inside a key hole to one of the doors.
