Coach arrested after alleged sex with minor

On Dec. 7, 2009, the O’Fallon Police Department received a call in reference to possible inappropriate conduct involving Reginald Hicks, an employee and coach at Fort Zumwalt West High School, and a 16-year-old female student. The 16-year-old alleged that she and Hicks, age 23, had inappropriate contact off campus over the course of the last several weeks.
Hicks was arrested by O’Fallon Police Detectives during the investigation. On Dec. 8, 2009, the St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued nine counts of Statutory Sodomy 2nd and two counts of Statutory Rape 2nd, with a bond of $50,000.
The O’Fallon Police Department is requesting information on any similar type allegations relating to Mr. Hicks due to his position at Fort Zumwalt West High School. Please contact Detective Matthew Myers at 636-379-5670 with any information.
