Charges of Sexual Misconduct issued

O’Fallon, MO
On 9/16/09 at approximately 9:23 p.m., the O’Fallon Police Department received calls of a suspicious subject in the 500 block of Sunset Lane. A subject matching the description of the callers was located.
Through the investigation it was revealed the subject, Joseph Jupiter, a 20-year-old man from San Diego, CA, had met the victim online. The victim was a 14-year-old O’Fallon girl. It is alleged that Jupiter came to the area and had sex with the victim.
The St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued charges of Sexual Misconduct or Attempt Involving a Child under 15 and Child Molestation—2nd Degree, with a bond of $50,000 dollars.
