Accident claims life of O’Fallon woman

On Sunday, Oct. 4, at about 4:20 p.m., John P. Behlmann, 18, of St. Paul, was driving a 2007 Dodge Ram southbound on Highway 79, just south of Hackmann Road.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Julia M. Lacey, 82, of O’Fallon, was driving a 1999 Ford Windstar southbound on Highway 79. As Behlman was stopped in the roadway, Lacey failed to stop in time, striking of the rear of the Dodge Ram.
Lacey suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Peters.
