Tuesday morning accident on I-70 in Lake Saint Louis

On Tuesday, Feb. 24, at about 7:20 a.m., Barbara J. Jones, 49, of Lake Saint Louis, was heading westbound on the ramp to Interstate 70 just west of Lake Saint Louis Boulevard. Jones was driving a 2002 Toyota Camry.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Jones swerved to avoid a vehicle in front of her, lost control and spun into the path of a 2007 Toyota Rav4 being driven by Lindsey N. Jabs, 24, of St. Louis. The front of the Rav4 struck the front of the Camry.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident. They each suffered minor injuries and were taken to St. Joseph Hospital West by St. Charles County Ambulance.
Both vehicles received extensive damage.
