Robbery suspect captured in Lake Saint Louis

Lake Saint Louis Police take a bank robbery suspect into custody.

 

 

According to scanner reports:

A robbery occurred at St. Johns Bank and Trust on South Old Highway 94 on Saturday around 10:15 a.m. The license plate witnesses reported was tracked to an address in Lake Saint Louis.

The suspect was described as a black female with long black hair, wearing a mask and grey sweatpants. She was said to have implied having a weapon. It was reported she may have left the scene in a silver-colored Altima. The license plate was registered to a silver Chrysler Sebring.

Lake Saint Louis Police and deputies from the St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department responded to a home off of Dauphine in Lake Saint Louis in anticipation of the suspect’s arrival.

Law enforcement arranged with the suspect via cell phone to meet with her at Jefferson Point on Lake Saint Louis near Highway 40. Multiple police units were stationed in the area for over 45 minutes.

The suspect arrived on Civic Center Drive, stopped the car, got out of the vehicle and put her hands in the air. She was taken into custody at 11:59 a.m.
