Female bank robber charged

Lake Saint Louis Police take a bank robbery suspect into custody.

 

 

The St. Peters Police Department has charged a female in connection with Saturday’s bank robbery which occurred at St. John’s Bank, 4001 Old Highway 94 at 10:20 a.m.

The bank robber was identified as:
Dwashon T. Thompson, a black female, 38 years-old, from Monceau Terrace in Lake Saint Louis, MO.

Thompson entered the St. John’s Bank wearing gloves, a long sleeve shirt, a hat and covering her face with a nylon fabric. She proceeded to walk up the to the tellers. She demanded money from both tellers and implied that she had a weapon.

Upon receiving an undisclosed amount of money, Thompson exited the building where she was seen entering a 2004 Chrysler Sebring. The witness was able to provide a vehicle description and license plate number.

Officers responded to Thompson’s address in Lake Saint Louis. While officers were speaking with family members, Thompson called the residence. Lake Saint Louis Police Lieutenant Pat Doering, who is also a Negotiator with the St. Charles County Regional Crisis Negotiating Team, took over the phone call; and after speaking with Thompson for over an hour, was able to convince her to turn herself in. Thompson agreed to meet police officers at an undisclosed parking lot where she was taken into custody without incident.

St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Thompson with Robbery 1st and she is currently being held at St. Charles County Jail on $100,000 cash-only bond. An undisclosed amount of cash was recovered.
