Conflict at Camden Cedar Lakes Apartments

Authorities are in the process of sorting out a clash which occurred Tuesday around 11:30 p.m. at the Camden Cedar Lakes Apartments in Lake Saint Louis.
A woman was approached by a highly intoxicated man on Cedar Bluff Drive. It seems an altercation ensued, and the man struck her with his fist.
It was reported that, at one point, the man was holding a knife sharpening steel in one hand and a pair of scissors in the other.
Some men subdued the intoxicated man and one of them sustained a scratch on his back. It is believed that the parties were acquainted.
When police arrived on the scene, the intoxicated man was uncooperative and had a gash on his head. He was taken to the hospital.
The woman suffered a minor laceration to her arm. But according to the Lake Saint Louis Police, no one involved received a life threatening injury.
The situation has been turned over to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
