Armed robbery at Shell station in Lake Saint Louis

Around 11:15 pm scanner reports indicated that police had stopped a white vehicle matching the description of the vehicle used in both robberies. The car was stopped on I-70 east of St. Charles Rock Road. Three occupants had been placed in custody and a vehicle search was conducted. After the vehicle search, Lake Saint Louis and St. Charles police were informed that the car would be towed and the suspects would be taken to the St. Charles Police Department.

Just after 11 pm it was reported that the Circle K station on Harry Truman Blvd. in St. Charles was robbed by 2 black males wearing bandanas and black sweatshirts. The suspects in this robbery were reported to have left the scene in a white vehicle. These descriptions match the suspects in the robbery at the Circle K in Lake Saint Louis.

According to initial scanner reports, the Shell gas station on Lake Saint Louis Boulevard in Lake Saint Louis was robbed at gunpoint by two black males at approximately 10:00 p.m. Tuesday.
At some point, one or both of the suspects jumped over the counter. An unknown amount of money was taken. The suspects reportedly fled on foot towards the Denny’s Restaurant.
Law enforcement is looking for a white Chrysler Sebring in which the suspects may have entered into the backseat. The Sebring is reported to be occupied by three people and may have a license plate with a handicap designation. The vehicle was last seen heading westbound on Veterans Memorial Parkway.
One suspect was described as wearing a black hoodie and a white overcoat. The other subject was described as wearing a black hood. During the robbery, one suspect wore a red bandana and the other wore a blue bandana. One subject was reported to be about 5'-6" and the other was reported to be 5'9".
St. Charles County Sheriff and O’Fallon Police Department’s K-9 units were en route to the scene as of this writing.
