Afternoon accident in Lake Saint Louis

An accident occurred on Lake Saint Louis Boulevard near Bent Oak Apartments Tuesday at about 4:20 p.m.
The Lake Saint Louis Code Enforcement vehicle was involved in the accident. At least one patient was taken away in an ambulance. Traffic on Lake Saint Louis Boulevard was reduced to one lane for a time.
A truck from the O’Fallon Fire Protection District was on the scene as was the St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department.
