Accident seriously injures motorcyclist

On Thursday, Sept. 10 at about 1:50 p.m. an accident occurred, seriously injuring an O’Fallon motorcyclist.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, debris fell from a truck on westbound Highway 40, east of Route N. The truck continued from the scene.
Joshua L. Johnson, 27, from Ballwin, was driving a 1995 Lincoln Mark VIII and slowed to avoid the debris in the road.
Paul Delgrosso, 65, of O’Fallon, was riding a 1999 Yamaha motorcycle and struck the back of the vehicle driven by Johnson.
Delgrosso suffered serious injuries and was taken to St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis by St. Charles County Ambulance.
