Hike it or Bike it on the Greenway at Barat Haven

The Great Rivers Greenway District will sponsor Hike It or Bike It at BaratHaven in Dardenne Prairie on Sat. June 7 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
The 3.3 mile paved loop trail, mostly flat with a few small hills, is perfect for families and beginners to hike or bike. Enjoy the park and greenway along this section of Dardenne Creek. The trail is wheelchair accessible, and the 15-acre lake has three overlook areas. The project was developed by The Great Rivers Greenway District.
St. John’s Mercy Medical Center will be on-site to provide free helmet safety checks, and new helmets will be available at the reduced price of $10.
Event planners suggest this activity as a great way to get active while celebrating National Trails Day, the first Saturday each June.
Directions: From I-270, go west on I-40/64 to Highway K. Turn right onto Highway K, then a quick left onto Technology Drive and follow to BaratHaven Boulevard. Turn right onto BaratHaven Boulevard and follow to the trailhead.
