Fighting breast cancer with blue jeans

October 8 is Lee National Denim Day®. Just wear your jeans on that day and make a $5 donation to help in the fight against breast cancer.
The Women’s Cancer Programs of EIF uses the donations to support:
- Lee Laboratories for Translational Research nationwide to produce effective, less toxic treatments;
- the Breast Cancer Biomarker Discovery Project to develop a blood test to detect breast cancer earlier;
- Cancer Support Community and its affiliates such as Gilda’s Club and The Wellness Community, providing emotional and social support to those affected by cancer.
Since 1996 the Denim Day event has raised more than $80 million for breast cancer research and patient education.
