Permit issued for facility to recover recyclable materials

The Missouri Department of Natural Resources has issued a construction permit to Fred Weber Inc. for a waste processing facility to be located at 2320 Creve Coeur Mill Road in Maryland Heights. Fred Weber Inc. will use the facility to recover recyclable materials that can then be shipped to resource recovery facilities or recycling centers.
The department reviews all applications submitted by cities, counties and private owners to ensure solid waste processing facilities are properly designed and constructed. Other technical factors that protect Missouri’s environment are also examined. A facility must receive an operating permit before it can accept waste.
