Just in time for spring cleaning
If you wonder what to do with “vintage” electronics, this event is for you. In honor of Earth Day, the St. Charles County Department of Community Health and the Environment and General Motors are hosting an Electronics Recycling Event on April 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the GM Assembly Facility in Wentzville.
General Motors employees and residents are encouraged to bring small electronic items for disposal (such as stereos, VCRs, DVD players, appliances weighing less than 20 pounds and computer keyboards) to the event. TVs, computers and computer monitors will not be accepted.
In addition to recycling, there will be kite flying, crafts, Stream Team exhibits and a display of GM vehicles. This is a free event.
