Upcoming Plein Air Competition

From September 21 through October 1, art will be made in the “open air” during the Saint Charles Plein Air Competition. This occasion will feature many artists, and a total of 20 awards will be given.
Passersby will be able to engage with the artists while they create. Spectators of all ages will enjoy this unique opportunity.
There will be four “Quick Paint” happenings. Meet up with the artists at these times and locations:
Quick Paint #1
Where: Blanchette Landing (not Blanchette Park) off Second Street
When: Tuesday, September 21 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Quick Paint #2
Where: Foundry Art Centre
When: Friday, September 24 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Quick Paint #3
Where: Frenchtown
When: Sunday, September 26 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Quick Paint #4
Where: Frontier Park
When: September 28 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
There will be an awards reception and art sale at the Foundry Art Centre on Friday, October 1 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
