Thomas to demonstrate impressionism painting

Artists of all skill levels are invited to watch Artist/Instructor Jerry Thomas show off his skills at the St. Peters Community & Arts Center. Jerry will do a demonstration of an impressionism painting of a waterfall using acrylics.
Come and see how the colors and values are developed when using acrylics to paint. Jerry will focus on the creation of many different aspects of a waterfall such as forms in the water, energy lines, overlapping of edges, water spatters and rock formations.
The painting demonstration will be held at the St. Peters Community & Arts Center, 1035 St. Peters-Howell Road in St. Peters, on Wednesday, Aug. 18, from 6-9 p.m. The cost of the class is $12 per person.
