The art of story telling at the Foundry

A fiction novelist writes to create a world where the reader envisions the events within their mind; in "Contemporary Narrative,"
these artists visually convey their own stories to the viewer. "Contemporary
Narrative" will exhibit at the Foundry Art Centre from June 17 July 29,
2011 in Gallery I & II. Gallery III will exhibit a solo show by Tommy White.
Jeana Eve Klein is the featured Emerging Artist in the Ameristar Gallery.
The opening reception for "Contemporary Narrative" is Friday, June 17 from
6-8 pm. The public can enjoy free food & drink along with artful
conversation and observation. The artist studios on the second level of the
Foundry will also be open to the public for visiting. Admission, as always,

The Foundry Art Centre is a fine arts gallery overlooking the Missouri River
at 520 North Main Center, in the Frenchtown district of Historic St.
Charles. The Foundry features a Smithsonian-caliber art gallery hosting
national juried exhibitions plus 20 working art studios where visitors can
watch the creative process and buy art directly from the artists. The
not-for-profit art centre also provides community meeting rooms, event space
and a children"s art gallery. Hours are Tuesday - Thursday from 10-8pm,
Friday and Saturday from 10-5pm, and Sunday 12-4. Admission is free, and
