If you are a parent interested in discovering when and how to introduce your children to art in your home, the St. Peters Community & Arts Center has a great hands-on class for you.

Whether you have one child or ten, young children or teens—Teaching Art in the Home is a valuable class for all. This informative eight-week class will be held on Thursdays, beginning Sept. 23 from 6 to 7 p.m.

The talented class instructor, Gina McAndrew, will focus on all seven elements of art: line, shape, color, value, texture, form and space. As you learn these important concepts through weekly projects, you will develop a treasure trove of fun and educational art activities for your children.

The cost for the class is $60 for St. Peters residents and $70 for general public. St. Peters’ Community & Arts Center is located at 1035 St. Peters-Howell Road.

For more information about the class, visit www.stpetersmo.net. To register, visit the St. Peters Rec-Plex.
