Sandra Holtzman workshop

Sandra Holtzman, a professional artist and founder of The Traveling Studio, is leading an intriguing workshop focusing on transforming travel ephemera and imagery into enchanting pieces of artwork, ranging from two and three-dimensional collage pieces to the creation of a postcard book, faux postage stamps, a personal symbol and painting on vintage envelopes.
Students emerge from the workshop with a new perspective on collage, journaling, and observation as seen through the eyes of a traveler. The workshops are April 24 and 25 and October 16 and 17, 2010 at the Foundry Art Centre from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
