Learn the art of linoleum block printing
March 23, 2010
St. Peters, MO
Printmaker Jim Hubbman will teach linoleum block printing at the Community & Arts Center in St. Peters this spring.
Learn to create a block for printing note cards or whatever else strikes your fancy. Your original artwork is first carved into a linoleum bock. The block can then be used to make prints for other artwork. This method is fun and easy to learn.
Hubbman’s class will meet on Tuesdays from 6 to 8 p.m. from April 20 through May 5. The cost is $75/St. Peters resident and $85/non-resident. All materials will be provided.
This class is for ages 13 to adult and will meet at the St. Peters’ Community & Arts Center at 1035 St. Peters-Howell Road; however, registration is at the Rec-Plex.
