“Celebrate” to benefit St. Louis ArtWorks

Thirteen Squared announces “Celebrate,” a Fine Arts exhibition and cash and carry sale to benefit St. Louis ArtWorks. The one night only exhibition and sale is Friday, March 12, 2010 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at The Regional Arts Commission, 6128 Delmar, St. Louis, Missouri and features over a hundred and fifty 8” x 8” works of art that have been created by numerous Greater St. Louis women artists.

Each of the over hundred and fifty pieces is a wall hung, eight inch square format and will sell for an extraordinary price of fifty dollars. The works include sculpture, paintings, collages, jewelry, photography and clay. Preview begins at 5:30 p.m. and the cash and carry sale commences at 6:30 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis.

Thirteen Squared is a not-for-profit organization of thirteen award-winning women artists, dedicated to raising funds for the St. Louis Arts Community. This year’s recipient is St. Louis ArtWorks, who provides work experience through apprenticeships in the arts for youth 14 to 19 in the St. Louis metropolitan area.

Previous projects of Thirteen Squared have benefited The Foundry Art Centre, Chesterfield Arts and The St. Louis Artists’ Guild.
