Everything looks green at Eco Expo 2009
April 16, 2009
Lake Saint Louis
It’s been called “the region’s premier green event” and it’s FREE.
On April 18 and 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., the St. Louis Science Center will host Eco Expo 2009.
There will be activities for kids; organic food and wine sampling; eco-friendly interactive exhibits; product demonstrations and more.
It’s a carbon-neutral event! AmerenUE’s Pure Power Program will provide Renewable Energy Certificates equal to 100% of the electricity used at the Eco Expo. According to the Eco Expo’s website, the expo’s support of clean energy will prevent 84,715 pounds of carbon dioxide from entering the atmosphere, which has the same environmental benefit as taking seven cars off the road for one year.
Suggestion: Find friends and carpool to the Eco Expo 2009.
