Gatschenberger awarded Freshman Legislator of the Year for 2nd Amendment Rights

State Representative Chuck Gatschenberger, R-Lake Saint Louis, was recognized for his legislative efforts and advocacy of firearms policy. He was awarded the Freshman Legislator of the Year Award for 2nd Amendment Rights.
Rep. Gatschenberger, a member of the National Rifle Association, was honored as the new legislative member who exhibited exemplary work towards preserving the right to bear arms and to expanding that right. He was selected to receive the honor by his fellow legislators, and the award was presented by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ron Richard, R-Joplin.
Rep. Gatschenberger said, “We cannot allow our rights to be infringed upon. Our founding fathers granted us this right, and I will do everything I can to keep it safe.”
