Indian Camp Creek Park Lake opens to fishing
from the St. Charles County Parks Department
August 3, 2009
St. Charles County, MO
Emphasizing passive recreation opportunities, the St. Charles County Parks Department offers a number of lakes, ponds, streams and rivers open to fishing. Today, the department announced that the fishing lake at the center of Indian Camp Creek Park is now open to anglers and – like most County parks – is stocked with bass, bluegill and catfish.
As a result of the opening of the lake at Indian Camp Creek Park, guests may now harvest mature fish collected from most St. Charles County parks. Fishing within and along park waterways is governed by the regulations of the state of Missouri, which requires fishing permits for all persons aged 16-64. For a complete listing of Missouri’s fishing rules and regulations, please visit http://mdc.mo.gov/fish/.
Fishing is now open at these St. Charles County Parks:

*Hideaway Harbor Park (located on Sioux Drive, near Portage des Sioux) offers boat ramps and fishing access to the Mississippi River and Weber Lake.
*Klondike Park (located at 4600 Highway 94 South, near Augusta) presents fishing at the Quarry Lake in the center of the park and boat ramp access to the Missouri River.

*Broemmelsiek Park (located at 1615 Schwede Road, near intersection of Schwede and Route DD) has two excellent fishing options: Wilson Road Lake and Betty’s Lake.
