Everyone can agree: integrating physical activity during the day is a healthy habit.
Trailnet, a non-profit organization based in St. Louis, promotes active living by helping communities design people-friendly streets, sidewalks and trails. They also offer events promoting physical activity.
One upcoming event is Boschert Hike it, Bike it, or Run!, held on July 10 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Fox Hill Park, 3309 Kister Drive in St. Charles. The hike consists of 1.43 miles within Fox Hill Park (additional miles at Boschert Greenway). The biked portion is three miles on Boschert Greenway and a 4.38 mile maze of trails in Fountain Lakes Park. This is a free event presented by the Great Rivers Greenway in partnership with the City of St. Charles Parks and Recreation.
