Dogs anticipate “Paws on Parade” in Quail Ridge Park
April 14, 2009
Wentzville, MO
The third Wednesday of every month finds dogs and dog lovers assembled for “Paws on Parade.”
March your canine buddy to Quail Ridge Park’s Shelter #6 at 8:30 a.m. on April 15 to take a stroll on the park trail. Enjoy mingling with other pooches and humans.
It’s perfectly fine if you don’t have a dog. You could be paired with one especially for the event, though advanced reservations are required if you need a dog to walk.
This barking good time is FREE thanks to the St. Charles County Parks Department and the St. Charles County Pet Adoption Center.
Directions: From Interstate 70, exit onto Highway 40/61 South. At the first traffic light (Callahan Road), turn right and make an immediate right onto Quail Ridge Parkway. Continue on Quail Ridge Parkway to the park entrance. Shelter #6 is located at the end of Paw Paw Drive, within the park.
