Babysitting is serious business

Summer is almost here and babysitters will be in hot demand. But first, sitters need to learn the basics.
The Middendorf-Kredell branch of the library, in cooperation with St. Louis Children’s Hospital and Progress West HealthCare Center, is offering a Babysitting class on Saturday, March 6 from noon until 4 p.m.
Topics covered will be: child development, safety and first aid, games and the business of babysitting. A workbook and light snack will be provided.
The cost of the class is $24 per child. Call 314-454-KIDS to register.
The Middendorf-Kredell library branch is located at 2750 Highway K in O’Fallon.
