Actually, there probably will be some good deals at the upcoming county surplus vehicle sale on Saturday, Oct. 24 held in the Family Arena parking lot.
Available for inspection from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., the vehicles range from model years 1999 to 2006 and include three Harley-Davidson police motorcycles, trucks, SUV’s, sedans and used Crown Victoria patrol cars.
Interested parties will be allowed to start the vehicles and ask county contact, Steve McPherson, any questions on Oct. 24.
Get a sneak peak of the vehicles about a week ahead of the auction date. They will be parked in the northeast corner of the Family Arena parking lot.
Bid sheets will be available on Oct. 24 for this sealed-bid auction. The bids will be opened at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29 at the County Administration Building, 201 North Second Street, Suite 541 in St. Charles. The public will be allowed to attend the bid openings.
Family Arena is located at 2002 Arena Parkway in St. Charles.
